Flock cameras in Illinois: laws, bans & ALPR status

Federal data-sharing restricted; enforcement active
Illinois law restricts sharing ALPR data with federal agencies. A Secretary of State audit found Flock had allowed U.S. Customs and Border Protection to access Illinois cameras in violation of that law, prompting removals and an investigation.
